This is an amazing product. My daughter sucked her fingers all the time. She often did it without even realizing what she was doing. TGuard allowed us to stay 100% consistent with preventing her from sucking her fingers. She wore it for about 30 days and her habit was completely broken. I recommend this to any parent that is trying to break a finger or thumb sucking habit! We will absolutely be using this for our second daughter as well!

Worked great. I think out daughter it was more mind over matter so TGuard helped her just overall go “I can’t get to them” and we were able to break the habit within a couple weeks. Happy we purchased as we tried taping her fingers, rewards and nothing helped. Her fingers fully healed from the teeth marks.

My 2.5 year old sucked his middle and ring fingers constantly, and none of the tricks I had tried for my thumb suckered worked. We finally got this, and it worked in less than three weeks! Humorously, he got it at the same time an older sibling had an arm in a cast for a fractured wrist, so he felt quite grown up to have his own “hand brace”.

Well, the habit is gone! Can’t thank TGuard enough. We were skeptical at first, but we followed the instructions and it worked. Fingersucking is now a thing of the past.. such a huge relief!!!

TGaurd was successful for my 3 year old! We started with just one but then she switched to sucking the fingers on her other hand so we purchased a second guard. My daughter loved the sticker chart and never put up a fight with putting the guards on. She enjoyed the process of choosing the color of the wristbands. I’d say my daughter was very dependent on her finger sucking as a calming and coping mechanism so the first several days were tough emotionally on her as she had to learn new methods of coping but it didn’t have anything to do with the guards themselves.

By the end of the prescribed days, my child no longer sucked her fingers and has not in the 2 months since then.

Daughters started with one thumb guard then we needed to buy another thumb guard because she started sucking the other thumb. The thumb sucking stopped completely. However a few weeks after she started sucking her pointer finger so we bought the finger guard then again she started sucking the other pointer finger so we bought another finger guard. Then started the thumb sucking again. She bite through one thumb guard and another thumb guard is getting pretty bit up too. We’ve bought so many through this company. Idk what to do any more. We put the thumb guards and finger guards on her and now she has moved to the last two fingers. We now might have to buy another 2 finger guards. I wish they made whole hand guards for at night.
Hi Rose,
Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. Switching does happen with children who are significantly under 3 (based on your child’s weight, we would assume she is much younger). We do have techniques and recommendations to address this, and we are glad to offer free replacements for the chewed devices.
We will be reaching out to you right away!
Kind regards,
TGuard Support

My child was able to stop sucking his two fingers right under a month because of the T guard!
TGuard is the real deal! My daughter was an excessive finger sucker since birth. At almost 3.5 she had her fingers in her mouth constantly. With about 3 weeks of using TGuard, her habit was broke. Her teachers and family were also shocked with how effective it was. If you’re struggling with a finger sucker, I would not hesitate to purchase this. It is more than worth the cost. Make sure you have it tight enough to where they can’t slip their fingers out and also nowhere near scissors to cut the bands off!
