The chart shown above will work for the majority of children. If your child is in between sizes (for example a child who weighs 40 pounds), choose a smaller size if you expect the child to resist the treatment. Also, consider the child’s height: if the child is very tall for their age, use a smaller size, since their fingers tend to be longer and thinner. The only important parameter in sizing is the diameter of the finger in regards to the tubes.
Please know that children under 3 are more likely to switch from thumb to finger sucking, or vice-versa, due to their habit not being fully matured. If you see that the child switches from thumb to finger sucking, please contact us.

Hello! Unfortunately, the Tguard aerofinger did not work for our daughter (3 years old -April 23), but it reduced the frequency of sucking significantly. We started one week before the month of June 2026 and for the first week, she would take it off. So we tried different ways to tighten it (2 bracelets, very tight) and no matter what we did, she still managed to take it off. I even felt guilty for tighten it so hard that the bracelet cut her skin and I had to put plasters and micropore around the bracelet so that it would not hurt her (I would suggest you improved the design of the bracelet for this). However, after that week, she started to leave it on and she did not suck her fingers for 30 days! We were amazed! Then, I don’t know for what reason, all of a sudden at the end of June she restarted to take the device off and suck her fingers again. It’s now been two months we’re using Tguard aerofinger, but she keeps taking it off once every two days approximately to suck her fingers. Would you please suggest any other solution?

Generally speaking, if a child is removing their fingers from the device, then the device must be pulled down and a different row of holes used for the bracelet. Rarely does tightening the bracelet prevent removal.
It is also possible that the child may need a different size. Our team will be glad to take a look!

This is an amazing product. My daughter sucked her fingers all the time. She often did it without even realizing what she was doing. TGuard allowed us to stay 100% consistent with preventing her from sucking her fingers. She wore it for about 30 days and her habit was completely broken. I recommend this to any parent that is trying to break a finger or thumb sucking habit! We will absolutely be using this for our second daughter as well!

Worked great. I think out daughter it was more mind over matter so TGuard helped her just overall go “I can’t get to them” and we were able to break the habit within a couple weeks. Happy we purchased as we tried taping her fingers, rewards and nothing helped. Her fingers fully healed from the teeth marks.

My 2.5 year old sucked his middle and ring fingers constantly, and none of the tricks I had tried for my thumb suckered worked. We finally got this, and it worked in less than three weeks!
